| Macèo Castellano is a fourth year Gryffindor, with three older siblings (including his twin sister), who's originally from Italy, but moved to his grandparents in Southampton before his first year at Hogwarts. | ||

| Macèo is by all means very confident, to say the least, if not even over-confident at times. He’s loud, vibrant, cheerful and always around, as he loves to attract attention and hates when he’s not in the spotlight – and there are only few persons he’d share the spotlight with. In addition, Mickey is a easy-going kind of person, without prejudices or clearly set goals in life (unless ruling the world counts), which his homework – or lack thereof – shows more than often, as does his practically non-existant involvement in classes, unless he stirs trouble once more. Outside of classes, he’s quite curious and likes to spend time with friends, following the ‘the more the merrier’ principle. Confidence and a way to talk himself out of trouble every now and then are two of Mickey’s biggest strengths, as is his lively character and talent to cheer people up. He can, when needed, also be quite empathetic, though only if he really cares. Wand work is Mickey’s biggest strength, as is everything else one can do intuitively without studying, and Care of Magical creatures, as he’s developed a certain ‘feeling’ for those creatures. Thanks to being overly confident, Macèo tends to underestimate dangers, and his curiosity gets him into trouble just as often – and more often than not he’s bound to realize that he can’t talk his way out of everything (which, however, doesn’t keep him from trying). He also way too easily trusts people, due to his judgement of people being quite off every now and then. As if that’s not enough, Mickey’s also quite temperamental, and is easily annoyed and bored. When it comes to magic, Mickey’s biggest problems are potions and all other classes that require attention and learning, for he can be quite the lazy bugger. Macèo fears greatly being mediocre, though it might seem at times that he doesn’t really care. Still, he’d rather be widely known for being a troublemaker than leading a normal, boring and noticed life, as he prefers even a bad reputation over having none at all. Additionally, losing his family would cause a breakdown, as it’s something he doesn’t even want to think about. |

| Elizabeth Thompson was born in England, but came over to Italy on a vacation when she was in her early twenties, where she met the young aspiring business man Francesco Castellano. Francesco had been in Rome on business, but the two of them kept bumping into each other; it didn’t take long before the quite up-tight man fell for the cheerful and vibrant young British woman. Long story short, the two of them fell in love and Liz’s vacation turned into a permanent stay – including marriage and pretty soon the first child, with three more to follow. Macèo is the youngest child out of four, born exactly three and a half minutes later than his twin sister, which annoys him greatly. Fifteen more minutes later, however, his mother died just after giving birth to the two healthy twins, leaving Francesco alone with Chele, his oldest daughter, Andrea, his first son, and the twins. While this was a shock for them, they were lucky enough to have a very close family, Francesco’s sister and husband taking care of the children whenever Francesco had to go on business trips, and Chele moulting into an all-round talent when it came to keeping all children together and taking care of her younger siblings. At the age of 20, she moved to the USA to pursue a life far from the family business, which her grand-father had sought her to take over some day. This signified Andrea’s turn for taking over to steer the now smaller family, helping the now 5 years old twins out whenever needed, tending lovely to them, seeing how he simply adored them. By the time Andrea turned 18 and started working in the family business along with his father, the twins were 9 and it was decided that they’d move over to England, to their grandparents on their mother’s side. That way, they could attend Hogwarts, which was indeed quite prestigious and Francesco thought it better than the Italian equivalent. The Thompsons didn’t object, seeing as they’d finally see more of their grand-children and only had to offer a home for them until they turned 11 and eventually joined Hogwarts, and so Macèo and his sister came to Southampton, England. | ||

| Leo is a natural sign for Gryffindors, not least because the griffin is part lion. Gryffindors born under this sign are outgoing, friendly, affectionate, and likeable. They make friends easily and are crushed when their advances are rejected. Their romantic, chivalrous nature makes them perfect examples of all that is best in their House. However, they are also bossy, domineering, spendthrift, and overly dramatic (ever heard the phrase "drama queen?") They have sharp tempers and need to learn to direct their anger toward only needful causes. The natural creativity and flamboyance of Leo makes Gryffindors born under this sign good at most everything they attempt, provided they apply themselves to learning magic rather than using magic to hog the limelight. | ||
